青椒炒肉絲 Stir-fried beef with Pepper Shreds
This dish is probably among the top ten most popular home style cooking. The original recipe is sliced beef stirred fry with green pepper shreds, here I also added red ones to brighten up the color. The key to a tasty yet tender beef is to marinate it with Shaoxing wine, soy sauce, some sugar beforehand, then stir fry in a medium-to-high heat briefly before adding in pepper shreds.
